In Topic: Ugh, not a car....but something just as good--Looking for a Ford shop-DFW

Glad people are trying to actually help you find a shop /s

Of course, I'm of no use here either.

But I <3 the truck.

I find it interesting that the only people i ever hear go on about 'heritage' are some backwards ass americans. Literally no one gives a shit except them. I applaud the changes, motor displacement and all.

Oh, FFS, almost every car maker (and fanboy) talks about Heritage. Porsche, Ferarri, even Honda had the CVCC in a fairly recent ad. This is not uniquely American.

In Topic: 2016 MX5 ND enduro / 25hr / WRL build

It seems that the ND has transmission issues - fragile gears? My daily ND is in the shop now getting a new transmission at 24,000 miles.

Are you running and upgraded gearbox? Stock? How often will it have to be rebuilt/replaced?

I'm at 40k and mine seems to be starting to whine a bit. Hopefully the v3/v4 will fix your issues for a long time!

Wow.  So, miata is still, and always will be the answer - no matter the question.  Why am I messing around with a 2 ton camaro....I should make it a tow vehicle for a proper track car.

Have you seen the work that's been put into this car? It's... impressive to say the least.
