Thread sealant for gas lines

10 January 2019 - 01:18 PM

Tee'ing off the 5/16 SAE quick disconnects on the OEM fuel lines. The fitting i bought has NPT, was just wondering if anyone knows of any good thread sealant that won't break down over time. I've heard mixed things about yellow teflon tape (that its made for gas gas, not gasoline).  I've also heard mixed things about blue loctite.

Flood Cars

06 July 2018 - 10:47 AM

So i apologize if this isn't the right place to post this, but it seems the recent rains in south texas caused some more flooding. Is anyone familiar with where to go to find some flooded cars for sale? A friend of mine has an auction license so i'd probably end up going through him, but i'm not sure what the insurance companies do with the cars after they've been written off.
