TJs Second Annual Grand Tour - Spring 2020, June 7, 8:30 am, updated May 31

Recommended Posts

It's Relentless, coming back regardless of any pandemic.  You've got to try to remember how to drive !  The Grand Tour is coming back.

We believe that drives should not be restricted to S2000s or Parshes, Ferraris or any other marque.  There have to be TJs who would either love a drive for their baby, or who would even like to stretch the legs on the street legal track horse car.

Those who went on this drive through the forest twisties last year have waited long enough.  A greater number of people inquired after the fact, wanting to be included this year.  Well, ok, include yourself!  Who wants to go on a drive?  Enjoy the National Forests north of Houston on a spirited drive with us!

Updates:

#1. The Grand Tour starts at McDonalds, at 8:30 am.   It’s on the feeder, 25669 US Hwy 59 N, KingwoodTX 77339

#2.  First leg is I 59 (69) to Cleveland.  That should be the last of straight line highway for 3 hours.  A chance to show off your ride in a public parade, yo.

#3.  Start moved earlier, by request  Start is now 8:30 am.   If you want to start earlier, say the word.  We are thinking bring your picnic lunch.  We’ll find a place where we can picnic without offending any social distancing.

#4.  Route posted, lunch posted, video posted.

How long is the drive going to be? Asking for a friend

If your friend had to ask, it will be longer than his attention span. But he can split off at any time.

Previous Grand Tour was 4 hours, including lunch.

I need to put my AC belt back on and get out to the next gathering.

No need. Leave early AM, out of the cities,  always moving... who wants to repeat on 4th July weekend?
