hornetball Posted March 21 Author Report Share Posted March 21 Hallett! Always a fun track. Car did well there, mostly 1:27s. Wasn't able to finish the weekend though. Engine started blowing huge amounts of oil from the breathers. Also popped out my dipstick and oil soaked the "rag joint" (steering coupler) -- made the steering loose. So, I hung it up. Fortunately, I scored this off Craigslist for $400 last month. Goes to the machine shop next week. It's a legal 327 with all the right numbers. Just need some compression, cam and a bit of porting and I'm "off to the races." Link to post
