If you just drive the Miata there, you can get two birds stoned at once 🇨🇦

Truth bombed from the great white north 'eh.

Can you drop a hardtop in with the soft top still in place? What tools should I bring to facilitate installation? <-- #miataignorance.

Well, that looks promising. Weatherunderground was a little different with 30-40% chance of rain all morning.

It's a race track on the coast, so... that's probably just about always true :)

Yeah, but no - like for real on the tools / fitment questions. I've seen the hard tops using a bracket that hits a bolt in front of the trunk lid,  but I'm not sure if any other parts interfere with an installed soft top / frame space underneath?

Normally I'd be in for the roadkill style ratchet strap XYZ part to the roof...but that hard top (judging by the pictures) has the nicest paint on the car. I'd like to preserve the finish at least until I hit the drive through on the way home.

I've never messed with a stock one, I've only owned caged examples...but a google query shows it's do-able: https://forum.miata.net/vb/showthread.php?t=562238

However, I don't think this hard top has the OEM clamps; it uses pretty hardcore brackets and bolts to secure that may interfere with stock locations. TBH I'd say bring the truck...

If we keep gaining attendance like we are I may approach renting the track for TJs, alternating sessions on a member day.
