I haven't seen any videos of a white Vette driving off the end of the track with no brakes yet, so........ ?

And just because I'm a shitty driver doesn't make a miata any less slow.

I drive slow as shit. LOL

geez, now I realize I drive slow everywhere. haha!

I think he only drove off the end of the front straight once, and it was relatively under control, so not as exciting as hoped.

In all seriousness though, he did a great job out there this weekend and got pretty darn quick.

Pretty sure you're the one who got pretty darn quick  congrats on track record.

I was gonna post that video tonight of me just kind of driving straight past T1.

Sucks I couldn't break into the 40's like I hoped.   After pulling some angle out of my wing help a bit with the pushing my tires and myself just weren't up to the task on sunday.

not ashamed of 3rd place in TT1 in my TT2 car.   :D

I did that once..  Look close and you can see the fireants I picked up between T1 and my re-entrance at T4.

Congrats on the record!  Smoking fast.  It took me two years to break 2:00.

Your welcome! it was my first time shooting with a low shutter speed to get the wheel/background blur. I certainly need more practice.

Thanks! That session was one of the top 2 or 3 I have ever driven. The car was super planted and just did everything I asked of it and I guess I asked the right things. My Aim solo wasn't working that session for some reason so I had no idea what the times were other than feeling like I was flying, but I got out of the car literally shaking from the adrenaline and endorphins. Then I saw the time and was floored.

Really bummed there is no data as I really wanted to see it. I think my low speed through T9 was 98 or 99 and then full throttle through 10 and 11. All I know is that it was scary fast but the car handled it well.

Congrats on the record!  Smoking fast.  It took me two years to break 2:00.
