Hi,

I am looking into fitting a Z31 transmission into my 280ZX. I am looking for a shop in Austin that can help me modify some parts for this to happen. Any recommendations?

I need help with two things:

1. Shorten drive shaft 2"

2. Bell house modifications. I found a guy out of state that can do this for $150 and has done it many times. But have someone locally would be nice.

ITP - Inland truck parts, is the local choice for driveshaft builds/modifications.  They generally do a good job.  I've had a couple that needed to be rebalanced, but no biggie.  For mission-critical high rpm stuff, I use http://www.dynotecheng.com/but they are out of state.  Most shops that do this type of work can't balance anywhere near working RPM.
