Mardi Gras Region PCA Driver's Ed October 31/November 1

Recommended Posts

For the next PCA Driver’s Ed at NOLA Motorsports Park we have enlisted the help of PCA’s Whiskey Bay Region. This is an effort to bring in some fresh faces to help run the event as well as to participate. It will be operated exactly the same way it has been in the past and with the same instructors.

Registration is now open at www.clubregistration.net. Look for the event under PCA Whiskey Bay Region. We will be using the original NOLA Motorsports Park 2.75 Mile Circuit. This is a two-day event with two hours of track time each day, at a cost of $350.00. You can also register for one day for $250.

A box lunch from Honey Baked Ham is included in the entry fee for each day that you are registered. They will have an assortment of their box lunches and salads along with various side items and drinks for you to choose from. You may pre-order additional lunches when you register.

If you would like to reserve an RV space with 50-amp power email [email protected]r.com. The cost is $40/night.

We realize that there are many hotel choices in New Orleans. The French Quarter and downtown are only 20 minutes away from the track. However, f you are looking for close and cheap, we do have a room block under the name “Porsche Club” at the Best Western Bayou Inn. $89/night plus taxes. Includes breakfast. This is the closest hotel to the track. (About 2 miles.) The special rate expires 21 days prior to the event.

Registration and Tech Inspection will be open at the track from 3 pm to 5 pm on Friday, October 30th and then again on Saturday morning starting at 7 am.  There is a mandatory meeting for all drivers at 8:30 am on Saturday and the track goes hot at 9:00 am. A detailed schedule will be published the week prior to the event.

Please pass this on to your friends. If you have any questions, please feel free to email.
