Wow!  Weather reports did not look good for route home.  Scooted out of NOLA early Sunday morning after the first session.  That was a good decision.  We made it home just ahead of winter storm.  Heavy rain and strong winds made the drive interesting.

Oh- and I made a wrong turn at wrong point that sent me through about 20 mile of Miss. backwoods road.

If you have the opportunity to drive "Jack" Road with a loaded trailer-  DON'T!!!- TURN AROUND....LOL

As noted above, this was my first Chin event and first time at NOLA.  They put on a well organized and fun event as others have stated.  The NOLA facilities are fantastic, and the track configuration is a ton of fun.  NOLA will fill some of my track time void created by TWS.

Great facility

Holy crap! Glad you got back safe and sound. I get a little PTSD looking at the first pic. Memories of getting stuck on my way back from TWS around this time last year.

^LOL- I heard that.  I anticipate a few flashbacks.  A couple of times we considered finding a temporary nest during the journey.  We plowed through- and thankfully stayed ahead of the slick stuff until the final few miles.
