The LRA will host a 3/4 day HPDE on Sunday, December 7th, 2014 at Harris Hill Road. We will run the track in the CW (clockwise) direction. This track day will run approx from 10am to 4pm.

Our run groups will accommodate beginner, intermediate and advanced drivers so we welcome all you FAST TJ's & H2r members to participate. Every driver will have an instructor & a classroom session.

Also available are the LRA track cars for rent, which present a good opportunity for those that do not have access to a track vehicle, or do not wish to use their own. Cars available for this day include the Porsche Cayman R (PDK), C7 Corvette Stingray Z51, Audi R8, & Nissan GTR (track edition) which are priced at $499/session. The LRA NC MX5's are priced at $249/session.

Registration for the event is open at $175/driver which will cover THREE on track sessions, a classroom session and a catered lunch. Registration is now open at:

If there is rain these bfg rivals are like ice skates.  Off is likely.

Car control clinic......

Should have seen the ChumpCar 37!   What they didn't explain was the 37 was the starting temperature and it went down hill from there.

First night was 35 degrees with hard blowing mist -- Track was like ice!  Our RX7 would break loose anytime you touched the skinny pedal.  Felt like you were just drifting around the track

giving the car suggestions as to where to go.   Sometimes with cars on both sides of you!  Fortunately everyone behaved and it was more like (very slow) synchronized swimming :-)

Race ended with ~25 degrees and blowing snow.....  But we finished.

60's with a hint of moisture will be a tropical setting....

Great to hear you fellas enjoyed the day.  Another great HPDE for the Longhorn Racing Academy!  I know my student had a blast and made great strides in skill and comprehensive improvement.

If yall have any suggestions or questions about any of the events, let me know.

Glad to see Jen enjoyed some laps JD!

Ya I think she now knows why I am addicted.  And actually after looking at my data, I did my best lap of the day with her riding (1:35.89).

I love Milt's. Good to see everyone. 'Lump came out of hibernation afterwards and hoo boy, it's fast now. (Well, to me. I'm used to slow.)

Thanks for letting me play with you guys on Sunday morning.  I was desperate for some track time and to try out those new tires, which the jury is still out on.
