  1. Back from MSRH. I'd say today was a success; the car got me to the track, ran a few sessions, and got me home. Drivability was fantastic both on the road and the track. As usual, there is always more work to do, but it's damn fun as it sits. The next item on the list is Koyo radiator; to be fair, it's been the next item on the list for a while now, but now that I am logging coolant temps, it's gonna happen ASAP. I was running about 235F today!
  2. You really need a backup car, something like an S2000.
  3. Car is home. I have a few things I want to do tomorrow, but it should be ready to run on Sunday. So excited!
  4. Yup, technically the gates open and track goes hot at 9am. Typically I get there 8:45am or so, and yeah, depending on what is going on, there can be a crowd waiting to sign in and pay.

Yikes. #7 and #8 bottom look particularly sad. Good call on getting that done. Also a good example of how oil sampling is useful but not the end all of engine analysis.
  6. This is the SC400, which has the 1UZ-FE (4.0L V8) motor in it!
  7. Yeah... I was already suffering from corner exit wheel spin and thinking I should look into better LSD... this is not going to help! But once I'm pointed straight, it should be good!
  8. I'll have better pictures once I get the data files... but the results were pretty solid. We did a stock ECU run today, too, just to have an apples to apples comparison: Overall, power down low is massively improved. I'm surprised that top end gains weren't better, but it is what it is. The extra RPMs will be very nice to have. I suspect the car will be very different to drive. We did run into an issue at the end of the session, my e-throttle seems to have failed in some way. I've ordered a kit to eliminate it and rely on the cable throttle. I should have done that in the first place, oh well. Easy fix, at least.
  9. Car is at Mayco. Tomorrow we will tune it. I can't wait. I hope it runs good.
  10. Very nice! Make sure to remove all the stickers!
  11. But do you miss the NSX at all? I still love it every time I fire it up and go.
  12. Harris Hill is expanding?
  13. Autocross was one of the things I was thinking about, for sure!
  14. Maybe, but it'd be on camera and reported to police so plan accordingly.
  15. Howdy, I have upgraded the forum software from IPB 4.4.1 to 4.4.4. Please let me know if anything seems wonky!
  16. Car is heading over to Mayco next Tuesday so that Kenny Sampson can tune it! I am so excited!
  17. Here we are: https://www.trackjunkies.org/forum/45-other-texas-tracks/
  18. It was suggested that we needed another board for tracks and events in Texas that don't deserve a forum of their own, so here we are.
  19. $8500 for a TJ. That's about as low as I go before I park it on the road with the keys in it, though.
  20. I'm not sure it would get enough traffic to warrant its own forum. Maybe a generic "other tracks and events" forum?
  21. I approve of this! Looks like a lot of fun.
  22. I've driven a 2.5 NC and it was legit awesome.
  23. Pretty much. Guests pay $150 for the day, I think it is. The member has to be there with the guests and is responsible for them. Guests can only come out four times a year, and they do seem to be tracking it.
