  1. This Friday will be our first open house since we have expanded the shop! Everyone is welcome, bring a friend and enjoy our food and beer!
  2. Food for thought: If the goal is to drive faster than you are capable of now, take whatever money you are saving for a wing/splitter/diffuser/vortex generators/sucker fans, etc and hire one of the local driver coaches instead. Proper aero for your car will be worth less than two seconds at a track like TWS. Proper aero will also cost quite a bit more than the daily rate of a pro coach (usually about $1k/day). My guess is that you will pick up closer to four or five (or more) seconds with your first day of coaching. Also, it has been my experience that GOOD driver coaches know a thing or two about car setup. Many of the ideas we had for setup and aero were changed drastically by using both a driving coach and logging detailed lap data. One local coach has literally helped us take both car and driver from mid pack finishes to breaking most of the track records as well as being NASA regional champs in our series in about four or five coaching/setup sessions.
  3. Price reduced to $17K and still includes one year of track side support, setup and maintenance. This is a killer deal for someone looking to get into NASA or BMWCCA racing.
  4. Yes, the #29 and #63 do look similar. We removed the red plasti-dip at the beginning of this year.
  5. (it was plasti-dip red in 2013, but is currently white) 1993 325is This E36 has been an amazingly reliable NASA GTS2 car. There are hundreds of hours of development in it that make it super competitive. We were GTS2 regional champions with this car in both 2013 and 2014. Every race this year was a success with no DNFs. This car set new NASA GTS2 track records at each track it raced in 2014 and at two tracks in 2013. Price: Asking $17,000 which will include ONE YEAR OF FREE trackside support at any TX region NASA event Contact: Texas Track Works - 817-926-8863 [email protected] Chassis/body: Originally Alpine White paint Wiring is present for radio communications as well as cool-shirt Drivers side flat floor is aluminum Doors have not been gutted and retain functioning electric windows Doors have billet aluminum interior door handles Sunroof delete using OEM panel Bimmerworld driver side headlight delete/air intake Safety: TOPP Racing 1.75x.095 DOM 8 point road race cage exceeds NASA, BMWCCA, and SCCA requirements SFI roll cage padding Joes racing wide angle mirror Joes racing helmet hook SPA fire system (covers driver, passenger, engine, and fuel tank area) Fire pull and electric kill mounted on passenger B-pillar as well as center console Driver: Recaro SPG XL with seat back brace Macht Schnell aluminum seat base Recaro aluminum side mounts Schroth Enduro 6pt Hans harness (valid through 2018) Schroth right side net (mfg 2013) Sparco R353 steering wheel SPA quick release Momo adapter Suspension: TC Kline double adjustable coilovers Ground Control camber caster plates Hyperco 800F/1000R springs Ground Control front swaybar Racing Dynamics rear swaybar Ground Control endlinks F&R AKG Spherical FCABs AKG aluminum/spherical RTABs OEM X-Brace SPL Titanium spherical rear lower control arms Aero: TTW 6" quick release front splitter (removes in 45 seconds) TTW quick release bumper with canards Bimmerworld wing with high stands Trunk reinforced to chassis underneath wing Brakes: Turner Motorsports brass caliper guides Goodridge stainless steel brake lines Bimmerworld 3" brake ducts PFC 08 front pads PFC 08 rear pads Rebuilt OEM ABS pump AKG delrin brake pedal bushings Motul RBF600 brake fluid Wheels/tires: (10) ASA AR1 18x9 wheels 245/35/18 Hoosier R7 (4) Kosei K1 17x8.5 wheels 245/40/17 Toyo RA1 (Rain) Vorshlag 75mm studs Vorshlag lugnuts Engine: '99 S52 92k mi ARP head studs Welded oil pump nut Supertech intake and exhaust valves Supertech dual valve springs Supertech titanium retainers 21.5lb injectors S50 intake manifold Conforti intake and heat shield Custom tune Makes 209hp/214tq restricted for GTS-2 Always ran Motul 300V 15w50 Exhaust: Genuine Supersprint header 3" exhaust Magnaflow muffler Cooling: European oil cooler Stewart Warner water pump Mishimoto aluminum radiator with shroud Custom aluminum radiator ducting Spal 16" electric puller fan European self bleeding coolant reservoir Transmission: E36 M3 ZF 5spd AKG Motorsport shifter & knob ACT 6 puck sprung clutch ACT flywheel AKG 75D mounts Recent guibo Always ran Motul Multi ATF Differential: 3.64 LSD Bimmerdiffs 3 clutch AKG aluminum mounts Always ran Motul Gear Competition 75w140 Misc: Traqmate w/ Traqdash data logger Bimmerworld headlight duct Carbon gauge panel SPA Dual Gauge- Oil Temp/Oil Pressure SPA Dual Gauge- Water Temp/Fuel Pressure AKG aluminum subframe bushings AKG front subframe reinforcements Bimmerworld rear subframe reinforcements To arrange an appointment to view the car or for any questions, call Texas Track Works @ 817-926-8863. 6. Texas Track Works E36 M3 Our shop car is for sale! I hate to do it, but our growing business requires more space, new equipment, and more time. We built this E36 to be a competitive NASA GTS-2/3 racecar. The car comes with a current log book and annual tech. It has only run one NASA race (we didn't have a set of rains) where it finished four seconds ahead of the field. That being said, it has been extremely reliable and would make an excellent track day car as well. TWS it runs 1:52 MSR-C 1.7 it runs 1:19 MSR-C 3.1 it runs 2:20 Add your data logger and a fresh set of tires and it will be ready to race. We are asking $20,000 for the car and we will include ONE YEAR OF FREE trackside support at any TX region NASA event as well as any MSR-C event. 7. This is really coming together and the car looks well sorted! It has been a long time since we've seen you at a NASA GTS race, are you planning on getting back into it?
  8. The fridge is stocked with good beer, food will be arriving around 4:00-5:00. We will also be showing some race footage from some of our local drivers from the last Continental race as well as some World Challenge action. See you guys there!
  9. Thank you to all who stopped by, we had a blast! See you at the track or at the next one.

  12. Alright, next Friday we will be having our open house for sure! Free food and beer for everyone!
  13. Yes it is, I just put a fresh set of Ground Control FCABs and NT01s on it for any potential buyer that wants to run it around Cresson before they purchase.
  14. OEM wheels do come with the car, and as far as I know, it has passed state inspection as is (maybe with the bimmerworld cat installed).
